  • Mr Richard P. Young - Chairman

    A Chartered Accountant by qualification, his career comprises the highest leadership levels in accounting, auditing, insurance and banking. He worked in the regional financial services sector for over forty years, with the last seventeen as the Managing Director of Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago Limited and a Senior Vice President of The Bank of Nova Scotia, before he retired in 2012. Mr. Young served on the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago and was its President. He was also a board member of the National Housing Authority and served as its Deputy Chairman. He was a committee member of the Association of Insurance Companies of Trinidad & Tobago (ATTIC) and represented the insurance industry on the board of the Home Mortgage Bank.  He was also a board member of Development Finance Limited. Mr. Young was a director of the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange and served as its Chairman. He was also the President of the Bankers Association of Trinidad and Tobago for three terms.  Mr. Young served as Chairman of the Economic Development Board of Trinidad and Tobago. He is a Non-Executive Director of Massy Holdings and Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited. He is a graduate of Leeds Polytechnic and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

  • Mr Reynold Ajodhasingh

    With over thirty-one (31) years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with international exposure with Texaco, Amoco and BP in Egypt, Azerbaijan and Trinidad. Mr. Ajodhasingh brings expertise in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Control, Financial systems implementations and Ethics and Compliance. He has held Executive Leadership positions at BP in both Trinidad & Tobago and Azerbaijan, managing large teams in diverse cultural settings. He holds a BSc from the University of the West Indies and executive management training from Cambridge and Pennsylvania University.

  • Mr Peter Clarke

    Mr Peter Clarke is a Financial Consultant who has enjoyed a very successful 22-year career in the stockbroking industry, leading firms such as Money Managers Limited, and West Indies Stock Brokers Limited. He holds a B.A. from Yale University and a Law Degree from Cambridge University. He was called to the Bar as a member of Gray’s Inn, London in 1979 and was admitted to practice in Trinidad and Tobago in 1980. He is a Director of several companies, including Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited and a number of its subsidiaries, Allied Hotels Limited and Agostini Insurance Brokers Limited. From 1992 to 1995 he served as Deputy Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Free Zones Company and from 1995 to 1999 as Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange.

  • Ms Inez Sinanan

    Ms Inez Sinanan is regarded as a leader in the general insurance industry. She was the first female country manager and general manager not only in the Latin American Division of American International Underwriters, but also in local insurance companies. After a successful career in insurance in New York, USA, she returned home to Trinidad and Tobago where she blazed a trail in the local industry as General Manager of the General Insurance Division of ALGICO, Corporate Secretary of the Company and subsequently a member of the Board of Directors. She continued to make her mark on the insurance industry by becoming the first female president of ATTIC after its 36 years of existence. She was also the first female President of the Rotary Club of Diego Martin. She holds B.A. and MBA degrees from Pace University, New York. She has served on a number of Boards including the Agricultural Development Bank, the National Insurance Board, the Trinidad and Tobago Mortgage Finance Company and the First Citizens Bank and was appointed as a Director of the Home Mortgage Bank in September, 2016.

  • Mr Ewart Williams

    After serving for thirty (30) years at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Mr. Williams left in 2002 as a Deputy Director of the Western Hemisphere Department. He then took up the portfolio of Governor of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago for two five-year terms until 2012. He currently holds the portfolios of Chairman of the St. Augustine Campus, University of the West Indies; Distinguished Fellow – Department of Economics, University of the West Indies and; former advisor to the Minister of Finance. He holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from the University of the West Indies.
