Highlight

Financial Technology, or FinTech, is fundamentally changing the way firms that provide Financial Services around the world operate; revolutionising the way we transfer, borrow, protect and manage our money. In September 2018, the Trinidad and Tobago International Financial Centre (T&T IFC) held a stakeholder engagement session entitled ‘Developing a FinTech Ecosystem in Trinidad and Tobago’. At that session, we indicated that a FinTech Feasibility Study for Trinidad and Tobago was commissioned. That study was completed in November 2018, and thanks to input from valuable stakeholders like you, a multi-year roadmap of strategic initiatives was developed.

One of the initiatives identified in the roadmap was the establishment of the Trinidad and Tobago FinTech Association. The Trinidad and Tobago FinTech Association will bring together local FinTech stakeholders to act as a collective voice for the industry. It will play a major role in coordinating with Governmental agencies and other key stakeholders to share ideas, network and shape the future of the industry.

Please indicate your interest in becoming a member of the Trinidad and Tobago FinTech Association by sending an email indicating such to fintech@ttifc.co.tt.
