One FinTech Avenue launched

As heads of government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) converged at the Hyatt hotel in Port of Spain, in a small packed room in a neighbouring building a significant milestone for the region was taking place.

‘Today, July 5, 2023 is the day that the city of Port of Spain has been established as the capital for innovation within the Caribbean!’ chief executive officer of the Trinidad and Tobago International Financial Centre John Outridge stated at the official launch of the region’s first FinTech Innovation Centre, One FinTech Avenue, at Tower D of the International Waterfront Centre in Port of Spain.’ Read more
